Chris began playing the guitar at age 15 and went on to study at Hollywood's Musician's Institute in the early 1980s. In 2004, while a member of "Kelley and the Beachcombers", he switched to bass and has been keeping the groove ever since. He spent a year studying with grammy nominee Dennis Murphy. He is currently a member of the "Moondance Band". Chris was a founding member of the local group "The Firefly Band". He was also a member of the "Bombshell Bullies","Fish Hook", "Stella and the Baha Blues Band", and the aforementioned "Kelley and the Beachcombers". In addition, he has been a fill-in bass player for several local bands.
